Meet your hosts
Abdul
abdul is easily one of the coolest people i ever met. anna is letting me write this myself so i’m not gonna bs you, i wish i had someone like me to travel with. i know all the cool spots, i’m a great negotiator so i’ll have your back in the markets and i’m generally pleasant to be around. my highlight when traveling is the local art. i have a soft spot for textiles (carpets!!), pottery and jewelry. i pack light on my way to a trip but always come back with a suitcase of goodies from the local markets for my at-home “museum”. i teach basic astrophotography skills on our voyages and you’ll leave Egypt reading basic hieroglyphs if you decide to visit the motherland with us!
my favorite countries so far are egypt (duh), uzbekistan, china and mexico. my dream trip is north korea and turkmenistan.
Anna
&
Anna is why starlight voyages exists! she started with the idea of dark sky trips around Vegas and we’ve had 2 years of sold out trips. People have come in from all over the world to see the night sky and milky way for the first time thanks to her idea. Now we’ve expanded from local tours to global expeditions. She’s the brains behind the operation and the reason why this whole thing works. She’s even got me subconsciously typing in proper grammar I just realized. That’s how tight she runs this ship, book with confidence!
Some of her favorite places she’s been so far are Rapa Nui, Okinawa, the Philippines and China. (maybe some 2028 trip ideas??)

Absolutely, yes! We have had a wide range of guests including many solo travelers. Show up alone, leave with new friends :)
-
Nope, most of our guests take photos with their phone. If you want a high quality photo of yourself I will be happy to oblige!
-
Not at all! I will teach you all my tips and secrets to getting bangers under the night sky.

We expect you to be able to walk a few miles a day on both our hiking and international trips. We always take into account breaks and pacing. If you are unable to make certain activities usually one of us can hang back with you if necessary. All activities on our trips are optional so if you want to hang back at the hotel and relax at the pool that’s always fine!
-
Because we keep our group sizes extremely small (usually capped at 10 travelers), planning starts months in advance, and bookings are non-refundable.
To protect your booking against unexpected life events, emergency cancellations, or flight delays, we require all guests to purchase comprehensive travel insurance. When you book, we’ll send you trusted providers to help you easily secure a policy.
