A private trip with Starlight Voyages is a custom itinerary built for your dates, your group and your interests, arranged with tested local partners on the ground, and hosted personally by Abdul and Anna if you want them to come along.
We already run small-group expeditions to Egypt, and private trips take the same approach without the calendar. We have planned and traveled through Japan, Korea, Uzbekistan, Iceland, Chile and Rapa Nui, and we know how to find the people, stays and experiences that make a place feel personal rather than packaged.
You can be involved in the planning as much or as little as you like. Hand us a wishlist or just a mood, and we build the rest.

How we price. There are no public prices because every trip is different. Your quote reflects your destination, dates, group size and hotel level, and we spell out exactly what is and is not included before you commit.
How the planning works
If you want to be hands-off: tell us the kind of trip you are after, and we put together a couple of itinerary options to choose from. Once you pick one, we handle all of the planning and bookings.
If you want to collaborate: we work the route together, trading ideas until we land on the right mix of places, stays and experiences.
Please note. Because we block calendars and pre-purchase permits, local transport and stays well in advance, private trip bookings are non-refundable. We recommend travel insurance to protect your plans.

Yes. Abdul and Anna can host your trip personally, which is the premium option and the reason many people reach out. If you prefer, we simply organize the whole trip with our local partners and you travel independently, with our support behind the scenes.
Which destinations can you plan?
Japan, South Korea, Rapa Nui (Easter Island), Uzbekistan, Iceland and Chile are places we know well, including the Atacama Desert and its famously dark skies. We also arrange trips to Egypt, Socotra, Jordan and Morocco, and we enjoy planning somewhere new. Tell us where you want to go.
How do we start planning?
Send the inquiry form below with your rough dates, group size and what you have in mind. We reply with a couple of itinerary directions and a custom quote, then we talk it through and refine until it is right.
How much does a private trip cost?
There are no public prices because every trip is different. Cost depends on the destination, how long you go, your group size, hotel level and whether you want Abdul and Anna to host it. We build a clear quote for your exact trip before you commit.
Do you book international flights?
Not at the moment. We plan the trip on the ground, and our live flights page tracks current fares so you can see what a ticket costs and book directly with the airline.
Do you only run night-sky trips?
No. The night sky is our specialty and we build it into trips where it fits, but private trips are about the whole place: food, history, markets, landscapes and the sites you came to see. Add astrophotography if you want it, skip it if you do not.
Are private trips good for families and children?
Yes. Unlike our scheduled group trips, which are adults only, private trips are built around your party, so children and families are welcome. Tell us the ages and we plan the pace around them.
