Egypt for two, planned around you.
A private trip built just for the two of you: your own driver and a native Egyptian guide, a Nile cruise or a Red Sea beach, and a team on the ground in Cairo. You set the pace.

- Private car and driver
- Native Egyptian guide
- Nile cruise or Red Sea beach
- You set the dates
Egypt for two, from the first hello to the last goodbye.
A private Egypt trip for couples is a custom itinerary with your own air-conditioned vehicle and a native Egyptian guide, built around your dates, whether that means a Nile cruise, a Red Sea beach, or a night under the desert stars.
Egypt is the oldest romantic getaway on earth, and it still works. Sunrise over the pyramids, a private Nile cruise, a hot-air balloon over the Valley of the Kings. Then a Red Sea beach to slow everything down.
Every trip is designed around your dates and the way you like to travel. We also lead small-group Egypt expeditions ourselves, so we know which sites are worth the early alarm, which hotels earn their stars, and when a long lunch beats one more item on the list.
Start planning
Everything handled, nothing hurried.

Your own car and driver
From the moment you land in Cairo until the day you fly home, a professional driver and a cool, comfortable vehicle are waiting for you. No rideshare apps. No haggling with taxis. Just air conditioning after every ancient site.

A native Egyptian guide at every stop
Our guides are Egyptians who know these sites by heart. You will not just walk past ancient treasures. You will understand what makes each temple and tomb unique, and leave knowing Egypt, not just having seen it.

An itinerary built around the two of you
Tell us what you love and we build the trip around it. A sunrise hot-air balloon. A private felucca at sunset. Camel rides at the pyramids. A suite on a Nile cruise. A few quiet days on the Red Sea. Quiet mornings, long dinners, your own rhythm.

A team in Cairo, not a call center
We keep a support team on the ground in Cairo, so your point of contact is never a faraway voice. Want to change your plans while you are already there? We will make it work.
Start with what you love.

A private Egypt trip, door to door.
Every itinerary is different. This is what a quote usually covers, and one example of how a couples trip can flow.
What a quote usually includes
- Private air-conditioned vehicle and professional driver
- A native Egyptian guide at every site
- Hotels and, if you choose, a Nile cruise
- Entrance fees to the sites on your itinerary
- Internal flights, such as Cairo to Aswan, where needed
- A support team in Cairo, reachable throughout
How we price. There are no public prices because every trip is different. Your quote reflects your dates, hotel level and the experiences you choose. A planning fee applies up front and is credited toward your trip when you book.
A sample couples route
- Arrive in Cairo. Met at the airport and driven to your hotel, then an easy first evening downtown.
- The Giza Plateau: the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx, a camel ride, and a sunset over the desert.
- Memphis, Saqqara with a visit inside the Pyramid of Unas, and the Grand Egyptian Museum.
- Coptic Cairo, the Citadel and Muhammad Ali Mosque, Khan el-Khalili, a sunset felucca ride, then a flight to Aswan.
- Philae Temple and a Nubian village, then board your Nile cruise.
- Abu Simbel on an early start, then Kom Ombo Temple.
- Edfu and the Temple of Horus, the Esna lock, then Karnak and Luxor Temple.
- The West Bank: Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's temple and the Colossi of Memnon, with a sunrise hot-air balloon. Fly to the Red Sea.
- Beach days on the Red Sea at Hurghada or El Gouna, reef and pool, no schedule.
- Fly back to Cairo and head home, or add a night in the desert under the stars.
An illustration only. We reshape every day to fit your dates, pace and interests.

Good to knowQuestions couples ask about Egypt.
Last reviewed October 2026Is Egypt good for a honeymoon or a trip for two?
Yes, and for any trip for two. Egypt pairs the bucket-list ancient sites, the pyramids, Luxor and Abu Simbel, with a Nile cruise and a Red Sea coast of world-class beaches and reefs. You can do history, romance and a beach holiday in a single trip.
How many days do couples need in Egypt?
Two weeks is ideal: two nights in Cairo, three or four on a Nile cruise, a night for Abu Simbel, then three or four on the Red Sea or the Mediterranean coast. Ten days works well if you skip one region. We build the length around your dates.
What is the most romantic thing to do in Egypt?
A sunrise hot-air balloon over the Valley of the Kings in Luxor is the classic. Close behind are a private felucca sail on the Nile at sunset, a candlelit dinner overlooking the river, and a night in the desert where you have the Milky Way to yourselves.
Should we do a Nile cruise, a Red Sea beach, or both?
Both. The Nile cruise is the most romantic way to see the temples, three or four nights between Luxor and Aswan. Then finish with three or four nights on the Red Sea, at Hurghada, El Gouna or further south at Marsa Alam, to rest and swim before you fly home.
Can we reach a Red Sea beach without flying to Sinai?
Yes. Hurghada, El Gouna, Soma Bay and Marsa Alam sit on the mainland west coast of the Red Sea and have their own airport, so you never have to cross to the Sinai Peninsula. They are the easy beach add-on to a Nile and Luxor itinerary.
When is the best time for an Egypt trip for couples?
October through April for the ancient sites, when days are warm and nights are cool and clear. For the Red Sea, you can swim almost year round, with the calmest, clearest water from spring through autumn. Mid-summer is hot inland, so save the coast for then.
How much does a private Egypt trip for two cost?
It depends on your dates, hotel level, whether you add a Nile cruise or internal flights, and how many days you stay. Every couple's trip is quoted individually. A planning fee applies up front and is credited toward your trip when you book.
What does a quote include?
Quotes are built around your itinerary and usually cover hotels, private transportation, a native Egyptian guide, entrance fees, and any internal flights or Nile cruise you choose. We spell out exactly what is and is not included before you commit.
Do you book international flights?
Not at the moment. Our live flight deals page tracks current fares from major US airports to Cairo, so you can see what to expect and book directly with the airline.
Do we need a guide in Egypt?
Many couples find a guide makes the difference at sites like Saqqara, Karnak and the Valley of the Kings, where the history is hard to follow alone. On our private trips a native Egyptian guide is with you at every stop, so you understand what you are looking at and why it matters.
Do we need a visa for Egypt?
Most visitors do. Many nationalities can get an e-visa online or a visa on arrival, but the rules change, so confirm with Egypt's official visa portal and your own government before you book. We will walk you through the steps.
Is Egypt safe for couples traveling together?
Millions of people visit Egypt every year, and the classic route, Cairo, Luxor, Aswan and the Red Sea resorts, is well established. On our trips you travel in private transport with local guides. As with any destination, check the US State Department travel advisory or your own government's advice before booking.
